Founded in 1946, Ashley Welding and Machine Company is a precision metal fabrication company based in Edenton, North Carolina. From the beginning, the company has based its reputation on quality products, excellent service and timely delivery.  

In the 1980’s, Ashley Welding was drawn to the needs of local boat builders. Today, coastal North Carolina is home to some of the world’s leading boat manufacturers, and we are proud to call many of them our customers for towers, tops, bow rails, rod holders, lamination booms and other metal boat components.   

Our uncompromising commitment to quality is what  attracts these boat builders. We never cut corners, either in the materials we use or the manufacturing techniques we employ. All joints are milled and tightly fitted, and all small parts and t-tops are anodized after being built. Also, we train and employ some of the finest welders in the industry.
